It's been a wild last 6 months. My little kidlets have grown soo much. Where does time ago. Brecken is now 4 years old and Park is now 6 1/2 months. Brecken has changed and grown soo much since she became a big sister. She says the funniest grown up things and picks up on EVERYTHING I say, so I have to be careful to say the least. Funny note: she is now loving to wear pants and isn't really interested in dresses (convenient, now that Lane and I went and purchased a whole wardrobe of dresses because that was all she would wear and we were sick of the same outfit every other day!.... figures!!!!) She is always asking: "You like my style?!" or commenting on my style.... the GIRL of Girls! She can't wait for Kindergarten, but I CAN! It is happening so fast- makes me think of the MamaMia song- you know what I am talking about if you have seen the movie. I do LOVE it, but it is an adjustment. Brecken loves her little brother and has done soo great with him. Park is the sweetest little spirit and just melts my heart. He has the cutest gummy smile and looks just like his Papa (F.Y.I. :that is what we call Lane!). He is always happy as long as he is fed and rested. Park has been rolling over since he was 2 1/2 months old, so keeping him in one place is impossible. We are always amazed how he moves so fast and gets off his blankets. I left him for a minute in his room to grab a diaper. Within 20 seconds he was crying. When I ran back there he had his head stuck under his dresser. Don't know how he did that soo fast with just rolling. He started scooting last week, but he doesn't do it very often, nor do I think he knows how he does it- he is just in pursuit of a toy and it just happens! He loves his solid food and begs with his eyes. Anyways, these 6 months have flown.

Halloween: Brecken was Rapunzel. This is Brecken throwing her hair down to her prince (her Papa) when he came home from work for him to climb up! Her idea- soo cute.

Striking a pose.... sassy!
How can you resist that little boy?! He looks soo fat! You would be surprised to know we took him to his 6 month appointment on Monday and he was only 18 lbs. 9.5 oz.- only 50% percentile. 49% for Height and 70% for Head.

All I know.... perfect blackmail picture!

Pumpkin patch
Soo sweet- I love it!

Park and his little buddy, Hudson. Brecken is good friends with his older brothers, Grayson and Calvin. Destined to be best buds!
XOXOXOXO

Soo happy!
Brecken loves to crawl is his bed when he wakes up and entertain him! Very helpful when I am finishing something!
Brecken was very brave and rode a pony at the pumpkin patch- I was shocked to say the least- so unlike her! So cute- she was soo proud.

The loves of my life

One more thing I have to share. Something I have dreamt of for a long time since I am a mollymormon: Brecken's first primary program and also, her first scripture and prayer.

For the primary program she was a HAM, singing with a wide-open mouth and singing with a face that said 'I am trying soo hard'- it was adorable. Her speaking part was "I can help my mom take care of my baby brother and kiss him when he cries", which was memorized! The kids walked in revently and walked down the aisles, singing "The Church of Jesus Christ". I was a mess from there! Soo sweet.

The next week she did a scripture and prayer. Her memorized the first part of Moroni 10:32 and said the prayer all by herself. It was precious and we were so proud. Love her and I am lucky to have her as mine!

Introducing...

Park Howard Foulger

4/20/10

4:23 PM

8 lbs. 11 oz.

20" long

Handsome!

Our bigger family ( minus me- the mommy!)

On Tuesday, April 20th I had my last dr's appointment. After so many contractions and being 4 days overdue, I asked to be induced. My doctor called the hospital, then told me to head over. I went home to meet Lane and explain to Brecken what was going on. This picture is my "before" picture.

My doctor broke my water at 10:55 AM and by 4:23 I was holding my little boy. My labor and delivery was very smooth, and included only ten minutes of pushing. Thank goodness for epidurals and great, knowledgeable doctors.

Recovery has been good, minus a litttle fainting spell I had that night when I got up to go to the bathroom. Luckily, I had called for Lane because I was feeling light headed, so he caught me- scary.

The Proud Big Sister

She already loves him so much. She has been great!

Park as lots of dark hair, pudgy cheeks, Lane's nose, and my dimpled chin. I think he is the spitting image of Lane's baby pictures, minus the chin. Lane was a little chubbier at 9 lbs 14 oz.

Going home and wearing his first outfit

Sooooo tiny!

Quick Update

No baby yet! Yesterday was the official due date- I can't believe I passed it. I've had contractions, but they decide to go away. I really hope he comes this weekend... but, I'm okay and in good spirits. I've done all I can to get things started- walk the mall, the park, the neighborhood, the riverfront, Home Depot, Ashley's, Kelley's, and the tulip festival where I also went on a tractor ride, but to no avail! Wish me luck that it will be today! I guess the last posting ruined my chances!

The trip to the tulip festival was our little preschool fieldtrip. Here are some pics:

It was soo beautiful and fun... and the weather was perfect!!!!

Literally, today is the day... I think!

So, who knows- but I think today will be our little guy's birthday. It started with Sunday morning at about 2:40- labor contractions. They were strong, but inconsistent. I only had about six, and they were gone 7am. Last night..... contractions started at 1:20am and were pretty consistently 15 mins. apart, until they decided to end a 4:55Am. I was obviously watching the clock! I haven't had any more-BUMMER! I have my last doctor appointment at 4:30, so I guess we'll see. But I do have the feeling that it will be today, so wish me luck.

And thank you Sharon for watching Brecken so Lane and I could sleep after a rough night!!!! We will need to be rest for what lies ahead!

Any day now!!!

Brecken walks in the other day "looking like Mom"- too cute!

My due date in next friday, the 16th, but the doctor said on Monday that I should expect this baby any day- so, we'll see. I have just been racing around trying to make sure everything is ready: that we have a stocked fridge, have t.p. and all necessities (t.m.i.!), a clean house, a packed suitcase, car seat ready to go, bills paid up to date, plans for Brecken, and on and on and on. Doesn't help that I have been in spring cleaning mode!

We are ready and beyond excited for our little guy, but cannot decide on a name even if our lives depended on it. We have a couple that we like, but I don't like Lane's favorite and vice-versa. Everyone, including us, will be surprised!

We'll update when he arrives!

Baby Shower

My amazing friends, Sharon and Stacia, hosted a baby shower for me last month. It was wonderful and sure help to make it a reality that I am going to have a little one again- a little boy- Wow!!!
Aunt Jeanie made Brecken's day by surprising her with a baby stroller, playpen, highchair, and car seat, ....and of course, and little baby boy. Brecken loved it and has been playing "Mom" ever since. What good practice.... not to mention- ADORABLE!!! She named her baby Rex (her name pick for our baby).

Sharon and I- both expecting. Obviously, I will be having mine sooner! She is expecting a little boy too- my little guy's future best friend! Somehow I didn't get a picture with Stacia- I love you too!

It was soo great to have soo many friends and family come- I feel so loved!!!

Now, fully prepared for baby!

Thanks again to Stacia and Sharon, and everyone that was able to come!
