Much needed update

Soo, the second and third months of pregnancy were vicious, but all done now! I am 18 weeks along and get to find out the sex of the baby in a little over a week- so anxious!!! It's weird that I can find out because I don't even look pregnant, just a little thick. Knowing will make it more real, but I will tell you that this is a active little baby. Too cute!

A lot has happened these last two months,...

My little sister Robin was called on a mission to Salt Lake City, Temple Square and reports Dec. 9th. Soo proud of her and excited for her. I think she will LOVE that call. We are going to Sacramento for Thanksgiving because she is going to have her farewell that Sunday- so excited!

Of course, there was Halloween. Brecken loved trick-or-treating with her cousins. Isn't she an adorable Snow White!

Brecken's crazy grandparents really got into the holiday. Aren't they fun?! Next year I will be more fun and maybe dress up

Brecken with her little friend Maylie. Do you see a personality difference?! Brecken is as girly as they come and refuses to wear pants. Isn't Maylie the cutest superhero ever. Stacia, good work on the costume-I absolutely LOVED it and am amazed she kept the mask on.

And of course, we took a trip to the pumpkin patch and had soo much fun.

Here are some random pics of our baby:
Brecken being her everyday girly-girl....this is her norm (playing barbies and wearing a dress)!

She grew out of her toddler bed, so this is her new bed. She loves it!

Showing off her preschool art. They learned about the 5 senses. Ears to hear, eyes to see. I love the little things she comes home with- it's my favorite part!

Our not-so-little girl

Study this adorable picture carefully:

That's right! Brecken is finally going to be a BiG SisTer!!!
She is beyond excited, as are we. The little bundle is due to arrive
April 16th. I am 10 weeks along,... and feeling great! Woohoo!!!

I actually had my first real Dr. appt today. They couldn't find the
heartbeat so they actually did an ultrasound, & yes, it's a real baby!
It didn't even just look like a kidney bean. You could see it's hands, feet,
and head. It was waving its arms and kicking its feet. Soo, now it real!

Foulger Family Trip

Ariel returned to the sea! When Brecken found out we were going to the beach, she informed me she was going to wear her mermaid skirt to make her swim and was also going to sing Ariel's songs (which she then rehearsed!)

Last weekend, we stayed in a beach house in Lincoln City. Thanks to Vaughn who got us the hook-up for an amazing, brand new beach house. We had so much fun... very busy, and many kids, but was more than enjoyable. I feel refreshed- I needed a little trip. Brecken loved being around all her cousins... I LOVE the whole Foulger family- I couldn't ask for better in-laws.
Brecken loves the ocean! How cute is my little girl?!

Here's our family picture (with my thug husband!)

Delpha and Deon... my girls! Love them!!!
There was lots of kite flying,

shell finding,

& skin boarding.
Of course, there is also playing in the sand and burying each other (of which I did not get a picture)

Saturday morning, all the guys went on a hike to the suspension bridge. What boys...they teased our nephew Logan by rocking him while he was in the middle of the bridge.

Lane's Raft Trip

For all those that have been requesting:

Lane went on a raft trip on the Rogue River last month with his Dad & co-workers. It was gorgeous and a blast... here are some pics. Enjoy!

Ingrid & boys

Happy Birthday to Ingrid and Jared (Aug. 1 &2). Yes... Ingrid went into labor at her own birthday party and had Jared the next day....& now he is a teenager!

To end our trip with the boys, with met up with Ingrid in Medford. We spent the night at Lane's sister house, and went out the next morning to celebrate Ingrid's birthday. Brecken sang "Happy Birthday" so loud and cute that everyone in the restaurant turned around and listened and then applauded her. She was soo proud- it was absolutely adorable. Sorry Ingrid, but now I know that our camera does not take video with sound- LAME!!! Happy Birthday again- I'm glad we were able to meet up for a mini-visit!

After breakfast we went to the Rogue River and waded and played a little. I didn't take very many pics, I guess most my energy went to staying cool and keeping Brecken hydrated.

Last Wednesday, I took Raistlin and Jared, and Vaughn's boys, Devin and Logan to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) and they all loved it. It is all hands on science stuff- really neat.

SacTown Visitors

My nephews Raistlin and Jared came last Thursday to visit... and they brought the heat with them! We have done lots of fun things, and had a lot of down time... hopefully, they haven't been bored- but what do you do with teenage boys (but feed them!)!!! I don't think I am as cool as I thought. Just kidding we have had fun. They are here until Friday, but thought I should post a travelog for their mother, Ingrid, to help her miss them. J/K!

Thursday:

Picked them up from the airport at 8am. They LOVED flying... they kept saying they wish they were still on the plane. When we got home, I tried to give Brecken a nap (bad idea- it was just after she had warmed up to them & was excited), while we watched a movie... Brecken never went to sleep! When packed up and went to the riverfront to ride bikes, and road across the new ped. bridge. We skipped rocks, then went to the waterpark to cool off.

Trying to get two teenage boys to smile & take a good picture is nearly impossible. Below, Raistlin pinched Jared when I said "3".... boys, boys, boys!!!

Friday:

Just a chill day. Rode bikes to the park, played soccer, dropped by Deon's kids bake sale, then went and picked blackberries.

Brecken: "Look at my trick Mom."

Saturday:
Lane took the boys to Hoopla downtown, where their were a bunch a 3 on 3 games going at once. When they came home we decided to head to the beach.

The Oregon coast- you just never know. Scorching in Salem, freezing at the beach. Look at my baby all bundled up.

The boys were off kite flying

Brecken and I decide to draw in the sand. Brecken's requests: Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

What 13-year-old boys draw...

Ingrid, where did they go wrong?!!!

We discovered a teeter-totter

Brecken loved it too! I know... I look like a dork. I can never make fun of my mom again! I agree with you mom- there is nothing worse then wind blowing into your ears. So Lane has to look at this all the time... I'm not so cute in the winter! I know what your thinking- DRAMATIC (Lane would agree!)!

I took them off for pics... just me and my girl!

Checking out the boats in Depoe Bay after some dinner

Loving the coast guard boats

Sunday:
Just chilled. Boys watched a movie, then we had a little Uno. Lots of I-pod listening and just hanging out. Some dinner and dessert (every night!)

Monday:
Hot, hot, hot outside. Went and walked mall. Found some killer deals on shirts. Walked some houses being built near our house- but the heat was killing us. Went to Lane's Uncle Marvins where all the cousins were in town. Played ping-pong and tortured them with wathcing the Bachelorette!

Tuesday:

Hot as Hades outside! Went to the free movies with Vaughn's boys (same age). Borrowed their Wii and have been playing all day and loving it. Once it cooled off a little we went to the park and Lane and the boys played basketball and had soo much fun. It was still hot- I couldn't believe how much they played.

Everyone was happy to please Brecken and play as Brecken says "Duck and Goose" Too cute!

Brecken loves having cousins visiting. She loves being silly with them. She looks like she is choking him- she probably was trying. She randomly hits and kicks them & everyone laughs soo hard. It is funny, but hopefully that doesn't carry over to her nursery friends!

The boys have been great sports playing princess games, and (don't tell them I said so, but a little Barbies too!) Brecken loves the attention from someone other then her mom!
Wednesday:
Planning on going to OMSI with Vaughn's boys- should be fun!
