Brecken decided she wanted to be a princess for Halloween. I tried to talk her into being a fairy, but to no avail. My girl knows what she wants. When we went to the fabric store to pick out her pattern and fabric, and after looking at a bunch of patterns she saw the mermaid costume. "Mom: I be mermaid princess!"... and that was it- she had made her decision & there was no changing it! Too cute! 
P.S. This was before Pocahantas was discovered & before the Pocahantas 'dress' was created. Brecken still has not changed her mind- she wants to be mermaid princess. Too bad because I love the thought of a quick 5-minute costume!

It cracks me up that she is so decisive and set in her ways so young. Reminds me a little of Camden. I'm sure she is going to be a beautiful Ariel! By the way to you guys like sugar cookies? I'm thinking the kids and I need to make halloween cookies sometime soon and it would be fun to have someone over. I know you said on my blog that you thought we looked like we had been busy. The truth...We do just about nothing all day, just hang around the apartment and ride bikes. I feel like I'm depriving the boys a little from social interaction. We finally got a pass to the A.C. Gilbert Museum so we are now spending sometime away from the apt finally. Even if cookies doesn't work out, we ought to get together and do something other than playgroup - which we likely won't be coming to anymore after this next week because of timing with preschool. If you are busy, no worries.
COME ON WHERE'S AN UPDATE? !! J/k give me a call though when you are available and we will make gingerbread houses or something. Are you thinking from scratch? or graham crackers, or just buying kits? I'm up for whatever. When we were in Washington for Thanksgiving they had the coolest kits to make, now I'm trying to figure out where they bought them because they were AWESOME. Have fun at playgroup tomorrow for me.
